Rhino 8 for SketchUp Users – New and Improved Solid Modelling Tools
Introducing the final video in our ‘Rhino for SketchUp Users’ series in which we look at Rhino 8’s solid modelling tools, some of which are new to this latest version of Rhino software and others improved in Rhino v8.

Ideal for SketchUp users that are new to Rhino
This beginner level tutorial, exploring how Rhino can be used like SketchUp, is for you if you work in Architecture, or related industries, and are familiar with SketchUp but are new to Rhino. The video continues on from the other videos in this short series, these are PushPull Modelling Explored in Rhino 7 and Solid Modelling Tools for Architecture.

New and improved tools in Rhino 8
This video covers the creation of the building we used in our recent ’Sun and Sky Architectural Exterior Rendering’ video where we looked at creating an interior architectural visual in Rhino 8 using the built-in Sun and Sky system and Rhino’s Raytrace render engine. Within this new Rhino modelling tutorial we look at how the new and improved features of Rhino v8 further enhance and simplify the process of creating quick solid models and massing studies.
